I apologize if this has been asked before, but I wasn't able to find the answer to this question and it has been a while since I've worked with DXL. I have created a filtered view that contains all objects that don't have a particular attribute set. This attribute is an enumerated type with 8 options. I want to loop through all of the objects in this temporary view and set the attribute for all of them to one of the options (selected from a drop-down). My issue is how do I loop through only the objects in the filtered view rather than all objects in the module, many of which are in tables?

Re: Create script to loop through view objects The standard "for object in module" loop only loops through filtered objects by default, if you wanted to loop through all objects you'd be using "for object in entire module". You can also further check isVisible(object) or isFiltered(object) or stuff like cell(object) to filter out additional stuff. |
